How do I log into the Knowledge Base?

Anyone may use the Knowledge Base to search for answers to technical questions. However, some groups at Indiana University have access to restricted documents. If you belong to one of these groups (e.g., UITS, OVPIT, TCC), you must log into the Knowledge Base in order to retrieve these documents.

To log in, click the Login link on any page and authenticate using your Network ID. To log out, click the Logout link.

Logging in sets a cookie allowing you access for 24 hours, or until you log out. If your browser is not set to accept cookies automatically, you will need to add kb.iu.edu to the list of exceptions.

If you do not have privileged access to the Knowledge Base, logging in will not allow you to see restricted documents.
