At IU, what is my Active Directory Services (ADS) domain account?

Your Indiana University ADS domain account consists of a unique username and passphrase, and permits you to enter secured areas of the IU network.

Your ADS domain account passphrase should be the same as your other UITS computing account passphrases. If you have an ADS domain account but are unable to log into the ADS domain, synchronize your passphrases using the Passphrase Maintenance utility.

If you still have problems, contact your local support provider or your campus Support Center.

Note: For information about managing departmental, student organization, or other nonprimary accounts (i.e., group accounts for which you are the owner) using the Account Management Service (AMS), see Managing your IU group or departmental accounts.

This is document ajny in domain all.
