At IU, what are the STCs?
At Indiana University, "STC" refers to a Student Technology Center (computing lab). It is also the name of the group within UITS responsible for the support of most STCs at both IU Bloomington and IUPUI.
IUB
At IUB, the STC group directly administers the STCs. For information about the STCs at IUB, including site locations, hours, printing standards and practices, and available software and hardware, visit the IUB STC Home Page.
For more information regarding STC facilities at IUB, see the List of Labs.
IUPUI
At IUPUI, UITS owns/operates three STCs, providing hardware, software, and consulting support.
In addition, Student Technology Centers Consulting (STCON) provides STC consulting support, and the Student Technology Centers group (STCTR) provides software and hardware support for six additional departmentally-owned STCs.
For information about the STCs at IUPUI, including site locations, hours, printing standards and practices, and available software and hardware, visit the IUPUI STC Home Page.
